I need to send a reminder to our team every month to remind them to send in
their monthly reports. Is there a way to do this so I don't have to bother
with it every month and the reminder gets sent to them automatically on the
same date?

Set up a monthly recurring appointment with a reminder. Look at the
utilities listed at http://www.slipstick.com/addins/calendar.htm#remind and
pick one of the ones that offers emailing of reminders.
