Alternate month shading

In month view, months are supposed to be alternately grey and white, however
mine are all grey making it difficult to see start/end of a month. (Used to
alternate until a couple of months ago, but can't remember exactly when the
change occurred).
Help says these shades are system defaults but I can't find anything in
Display Properties that helps. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

tools, options, calendar... did you change the shade? did you choose a
different windows theme recently?

Did experiment with changing the shade in Tools|Options|Calendar Options but
this affects only day view, not monthly

As for the theme.....bingo! I am using the 'Plum (high colour)' scheme
(purple is my favourite colour!). Tried changing back to 'Windows Standard'
and hey presto! Months are now alternately grey and white. Thank you very
much for that.

For a bonus point, I don't suppose you know how I can enable the alternate
shading in the Plum scheme.... :-)

did you try the different calendar colors? It looks like yellow is the only
one that is not well defined (on winxp).

No, but I should have said before: I'm running Outlook 2002 on Win 2000 Pro
