How do I hide private appointments entirely or ...

I have a lot of weekly appointments I do not want to view or print in monthly
form.  If I "hide private appointmens" the details are hidden but space
costly words, "priate appointment" appear.  I want to print a monthly
calendar with unique events only and include all regular monthly calendar
events like holidays.  If I try to filter, I can do so if I remember every
non-weekly appointment I have entered, but ineveitably, I forget something
and holidays are eliminated.  Solutions appreciated ...

Create a second calendar to which you post only private appointments.
