I've entered birthdays on several contacts yet their dates do not show up on
the dates in question at the top of the daily calendar when they should.

Did you recently import these contacts back into Outlook?  Importing breaks
the connection between the calendar and contact details such as birthdays
and anniversaries.  You will need to open each contact and change one item
in the contact details birthday/anniversary field and then change it back to
have it display in the calendar.  One reason importing is never
recommended - just copy the .pst file and open it.

and a further question about birthdays ....

Why do I get multiply listings of the same contact's birthday on my "Outlook
Today" screen?

Cheers ...

Luke.

How many contact items do you have for that individual?  How many times have
you imported your .pst file?

There is only the one contact item ...
He has multiple phone numbers and e-mail addresses ..., but nothing unusual
in that.

I think I've only ever imported the .pst file once, although I have
synchronised it with my nokia phone on a few occasions ... would that have
caused the duplicates?

... If so, how do I remove the duplicates?

Luke.
