Define purge and what version of Outlook?  All of Outlook? Specific folders?
If all of Outlook, just rename your outlook.pst to outlook.old.  Then next
time you open Outlook, a new .pst file will be created.

Sorry that helps 'ey??

It is Outlook 2003 (11.5608.5606)..................... and to be VERY
specific, I had syncronized a handheld to Outlook that had a bunch of
appintments, tasks, and contacts.  Now all of those appointment are in my
Outlook calendar (along with the tasks and contacts).  Now I don't want ANY
of the calendar items, tasks, or contacts in Outlook, however I want to keep
all of my mail settings, and folders, etc.......

Basically I'm bagging the whole scheduling, tasks, and contacts idea from
Outlook and going back to my Palm Desktop (but keeping the e-mail side of
Outlook).

Cheers!!!

Yeah, great way to ask for assistance... post a vague question, get asked
for clarification, then blow off whoever answered.

You are destined for a great career in public relations.

Hey......wait a sec. Milly.......... I did respond and actually was hoping
you could help me out.  I certainly wasn't trying to blow you off???

You asked:
Define purge ........... and I said:

Sorry.......... maybe I am just not understanding because I'm fairly new to
Outlook.  I hope you can help me work through this.

Will renaming your outlook.pst to outlook.old screw any of my mail settings
or preferences up............if not:  How exactly do I do this?

Thanks again,

Syno
