In Outlook 2000 on a Win2K box, The Calendar within Outlook was moved under
the Contacts.  It is my understanding that any components a users mailbox
such as contact, calendar, inbox could not be moved.  I'm trying to move it
back under the Outlook Today but it says it cannot be moved.  Does anyone
have any suggestions as to how this can be fixed?

That is my understanding and experience as well.  However an additional
folder e.g. calendar could be created then moved.  Is this the only calendar
showing and is now under contacts.

May want to run the command-line fixes resetfolder.

Francine,

Thanks for your reply.  This is the only Calendar appearing in her Outlook.
At first I had tried to create a copy of the one that was under Contacts
which worked initially and I could have ignored the other one.  However when
there are other users that have access to the Calendar and they write it in
they show up in the one under Contacts.  I'll let you know how the reset
folders command line switch works out.

Best regards,
Russ
