Whole year view in Outlook Calendar

How do I get a whole year view and printout in Outlook Calendar, preferably
an 'active' one that I can hover or click through to get the detail of the
shown appointments?

outlook doesn't support a planner style yearly calendar. There is at least
one addin that supports it - look for them at
http://www.slipstick.com/addins/calendar.htm
