The reminder alarm isn't going off on my recurring appts.

I set up the recurring appts and set up the reminder alarm.  The symbol shows
up that it is one, and I open the appts. and the alarm is still on.  Yet I
don't get my reminders popping up at all.  Does anyone know how to fix this
or what I did wrong?  Thank you!

What version of Outlook?  Do you have a sound set to play?

Outlook 2002 (is that what you mean?  i'm still learning how to use this
program at work.)  I do have a sound set to play, just the regular chime.
