I don't use Outlook as a web browser.  Who would ever think of using it
as such?  I wanted to know why the error occurred when I clicked the
Search the Web, not when I clicked the Start page.  This is a Microsoft
"feature" and I wanted to know why it didn't work.

I have a defined search engine.  But that was not my question.

Egads, are we prickly.  Please, re-read my response.  Where did I specify
that YOU were using Outlook as a web browser - I asked, rhetorically, why
"anyone" would use Outlook as a web browser.

As for the rest of your response, I am very happy that your 12 year old
daughter was able to help out.  And I hope her other parent is in charge of
teaching her grace and manners.
