Generate birthday events from contacts?

Is it possible to generate birthday events from each contacts' "birthday"
field?

The only "event" that will be created is a birthday item on the month/day of
the birthday and a reminder. Anything else you would need to add to
Outlook.

And is there a way to generate this birthday item automatically from each
contact ?

Add the birthday to the contact details. If it is already there and you had
previously imported your contacts (thereby breaking the connection) you will
need to open each one, change one item in the contact's birthday details,
and then change it back.
