In Outlook 2002 Can i delete a block of historical appointments

i want to delete all my old appointments - can i do say a whole year or do i
have to do individually?

Thanks - but  how do i display a list of historical appointments - all i can
do is get a list of active appointments???

I think if you view by category, you should see all appointments.
