Moving Outlook Calendar data to another folder

I have been inadvertently using a non-default folder for my calendar.
I would like to move that data into the main Calendar folder.
How do I move data from one Calendar in Outlook to another Calendar folder?
How do I empty the destination folder first?
TIA

Display by categories, select all and drag and drop.  For the future, ensure
your delivery location is set to the preferred calendar .pst or mailbox.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

Thank you! That technique worked perfectly.
I am very grateful.

Milly,
This worked for the categories and events views, but not for the
day/wk/month views. Is there another fix?

The views (unless you filtered them) show you the same data.  If it's in
the By Category View, it will be in the Day /week/Month view.

That's what I thought also, but the data in the day/wk/month view is still
only in the original folder. The original folder name is "Calendar in
Personal Folder", if that means anything, as opposed to just "Calendar" which
seems to be the default location. BTW, I was able to move the email and
contact data by copy/paste (it was also in a folder called "email/contact in
Personal Folder"), but the calendar data wouldn't let me do that.
An additional note: the recurring events show up in both calendars. It's
only the individual events that aren't showing up in the default calendar.

This sounds like V2003 to me.

Make sure to use the Folder List view of the Navigation Pane so you can
actually tell which folder you are in/looking at.

You can use each view in each folder. Set them the same and compare data.
If the data is not in the Calendar folder you want it in, select it, then
drag it there.

Judy,
I tried it again (select all, drag and drop) and this time it worked. Must
have been an operror the first time. Thanks for your and Milly's help.
