MS Office Forum / Outlook / Calendaring / August 2006restore archived calendar
I didn't realise until now but my Outlook Calendar was set to auto-archive, and it has just placed every entry except my most recent into the Archive folder. However, I don't want this and wish to restore everything into the original calendar. I have tried to follow the Help instructions but cannot see a way to do this. You cannot just drag the Archive Calendar back into the original Calendar folder, since this just lists it as "Calendar1". I have also tried exporting the Archive Calendar to the desktop as a .CSV file and then importing that back to the original Calendar, but it will only let me import the past couple of months worth of entries, for some reason I don't understand. Please advise. Thanks. Drag the individual items, not the folder. Start in the By Category view or any other table view. Most of my appointments I haven't assigned a catagory to. > Are you dragging from a table view, as I suggested? Select all (or what you want) right click and drag to the destination calendar FOLDER, release the mouse and select copy or move.
