Sorry for the cross post, but have gotten no help on GQ board...........
I had a problem with reminders not being able to be shown and posted on this
general questions board (Annoying Error message - Problem reading reminders
3/8/2005) - received instruction to /cleanreminders via the "command-line
switches".
Did that, but continue to get a message upon start-up of Outlook saying
"Cannot start reminder service. Unable to show reminders." on the bottom
tool bar. Outlook seems to work ok, but just not able to see reminders,
which helps me stay on track.
Sounds like the hidden Reminders folder might be corrupted or disconnected.
Try starting Outlook with the /resetfolders switch.

Thanks Ken, but still no cigar for me. I ran the resetfolders switch and
even did the cleanreminders switch again - same issue.
Other thoughts?

The only other things I can think of are possibly a damaged PST file or
profile. Try running scanpst.exe (Inbox Repair Tool) on your PST file and if
that doesn't detect any problems and fix them the next step is a new
profile. Open the Mail applet in the Control Panel and create a brand new
one, don't copy an existing profile.
