The Reminders for All Day Events do not appear if I make the event yearly
recurring.  The reminder works fine until I add the recurrence and reappears
if I remove the recurrence.

I am using Outlook 2002 SP3.

Try running the command-line fix outlook.exe /cleanreminders.

Thanks for the suggestion but I've already tried that and it didn't work!

I am having the EXACT SAME problem as James W and have spent many hours
trying to solve it.  I hope someone out there can help us!

I am also running Outlook 2002 SP3 and have tried /cleanreminders and
/resetfolders. The problem is reproducible each and every time as follows.
Create a New calendar Appointment or All Day Event with a reminder set to
appear today.  The reminder instantly appears in the Reminders Window.  Open
the appointment or event and add a recurrence.  Save and Close the event and
the event instantly disappears from the Reminders Window.  Open and remove
the recurrence, and the event once again appears in the Reminders Window.
This can be repeated over and over again.

Please Help!

I am also having this problem. I have for two or three years. I have had
three different PCs with 2000 and XP. I have used Outlook 2000 and XP. If I
run Outlook.exe /cleanreminders and another switch that I don't remember
right now it will fix it for a day or two and then same problem. Quite often
it is only two or three of the reminders that fail, the ones that are daily
and I have used for years. Also the little letter icon will sometimes not go
away when I have read all my mail. I can not trust reminders and it is very
frustrating.

Is there some way of refreshing outlook without closing and restarting it?
