Outlook Calendar - Don't like shades of one color from month to m.

Color shades for background is not working for me.  I have booked
appointments on the wrong month without realizing it.  Grey looks like white
to me.  Two shades of another color doesn't get it either.  We need to be
able to make alternating months "red" or "green" or any other color while the
other months are some other color altogether.

After furious head scratching, DrJAG asked:
