I can't open recurring appointments in OL 2003. Error: Can't open.

When I try to work with recurring appointments in OL 2003, I can't open them.
I get this message: "Can't open this item. Operation failed. An object cannot
be found." I can sync them with my ipaq and change them there and they sync
back just fine.

Have you tried Help->Detect and Repair?
