I need Outlook to post my tasks by due date and reminder dates onto my
calendar so that I can visually see what is coming up and when, and without
having to re-enter the information into the calendar as an appointment or the
like.

Try this approach if you want to know what you need to do each day:

Firstly, set START dates for Tasks.  Due dates just make you focus on urgent
things and you get everything done at the last minute!

In the Calendar make sure you have the TaskPad showing (you haven't posted
your version so you can work that bit out for yourself).

Set the settings for TaskPad as "Active Tasks for Selected Days".  Now the
things you need to do (Tasks) wil be side by side (in 1 day View) with the
meetings you have to attend each day.
