Calendar Reminder popup when Outlook not opened

Does anyone know if Outlooks Calendar reminders can be set to show a popup
even if Outlook isn't open? I'd like to have something like the MS Works
Calendar functionality...bascially you get a popup window showing your
schedule for the day...without having to open Outlook....

Not without a third party tool - Outlook MUST be open to have any functions
work.

Milly,
Thanks for the reply, it looks though that that particular program only
monitors multiple mail boxes...not a calendar...oh well..my friend will just
have to bite the bullet and get a 3rd party program...

The calendar is a part of the mailbox. Give it a try to see how it works.
