Is there anyway to stop appointments from appearing in your calendar before
you choose to accept or deny it. This causes problems when our clients are
scheduling meetings for their supervisors because they see this appointment
there that has not been accepted or denied yet by the supervisor.

Funny you should ask .....
I'm trying to figure out how to allow the tenative meeting requests to show
up when the "Out of Office Assistant" is enabled.

When the "Out of Office Assistnt" is enabled, it will prevent appointments
from appearing in your calendar if you are using Outlook 2003 on an Exchange
Server.

You will notice that when the meeting requests show up in your calendar,
before you have accepted or rejected them, show up as "tenative" meetings.
This is marked by the blue and white striped border around the entry in the
calendar.  Once you accept the meeting, the entry will be marked by a solid
blue border.

That doesnt answer the question as to why they show up on Outlook Today. I
sent myself a meeting request, didnt open it, and it was there as if I
accepted it. I checked my options and there is nothing that would enable an
automatic acceptance.
