Problems importing vcalender

I cannot import this file. It's produced from Mozilla Calendar 1.0 It
imports fine in other programs.

Can somebody please help? It's required by us to follow standards of
other programs.

Yes ive tried that also. I have Microsoft Office XP (2002)

The error message I get when importing a Mozilla (5.0) ics file is
"vCalendar/iCalendar import failed.  The input file may be corrupt."  I have
also tried comma and tab separated (Mozilla did not create any csv or txt
export file, so I had to convert the ics file) and others.  The csv and txt
imports appeared to be working, but no data was imported.  I was prompted to
"Map custom fields," but cancelled as I only used standard fields.  

I was able to import some calendar schedule entries by importing a vcs file,
though the recurring entries did not import as recurring, but as single
events (start date only), and none of the task list entries could import
(Mozilla does not seem to have an export function for these, so the original
ics file has to be used).  I imagine the problem is on Mozilla's end, since
their calendar has a lot of problems, but if anyone can think of a way to
import all the entries, including the task list (so I never have to use
Mozilla calendar again), that would be appreciated.

OK - here's a first helping hand. This has been tested in Outlook 2003.
According to MSDN you might have some other issues in older versions, but
I'm not able to help with that.

1) Outlook needs a METHOD:PUBLISH entry in the file header.

2) Outlook doesn't seem to support VTIMEZONE (or part of it) - so delete
everything between BEGIN:VTIMEZONE and END:VTIMEZONE (or try to delete one
'tag' at the time in this entry)

3) Outlook doesn't seem to support VTODO (or part of it) - so find these
entries in your file and delete these too (or try to remove one tag at the
time as in 2)

I did some testing with your file and the version below you can save in a
file and import into outlook 2003. You'll miss your tasks and because of
the missing timezone, the time for all the events may be wrong.

Please import it, look carefully through the result and report back if any
of the imported stuff is incorrect. In this way it will be easier to make a
complete list of incompabilities. This will help future users and it'll
help me too to provide some conversion tool (even though I'd prefer to
convert the other way around - from Outlook to Mozilla Calendar, that is ;-)

P.S. Can anyone tell me how I remove the three copies of Hallsteins
calendar that I now have in my Outlook calendar ???  :-))
