Daylight Savings Changed Appointments

Existing meetings/appointments moved 1 hour ahead, while others changed their
end date/time 1 day ahead making it a 24 hour event.

This happened when the user changed their time 1 hour ahead for daylight
savings and checked "automatically adjust clock for daylight savings
changes". Prior to this it was not checked.

When we uncheck the radio box, all the existing events go back to normal and
as it is intended.

Any thoughts and solutions to this. I would like to enable auto adjust clock
for daylight savings without affecting existing appointments in calendar.

Running XP Pro and Office 2003 with Exchange 2000 Enterprise. As far as I
know all the latest and greatest patches/fixes are applied.

The user should not have changed times manually, just selected the option to
automatically adjust for DST. The system would have taken care of it and
everything would be where it belongs.

Not strictly true, in fact. I had the option unchecked, so I checked it and
still many of the appointments had been adjusted by an hour.

What annoys me is that I have never knowingly unchecked that option, and
even ensured that it is checked whenever I go into the time control panel.
Somehow it became unchecked without my knowledge. I get the feeling there
may be a WinXP bug lurking somewhere.

I agree with G Winstanley.

Milly - Any other ideas? I checked all the other threads and it seems u
responded similarly to all postings, but the issue still exist. Let us know.
