In reviewing old appointments (eg-how long since I've been to the doctor), I
find that all appointments over six months old have been deleted. I'd like to
prevent this from occurring.

Disable the auto-archive settings in your calendar.  Right click the
calendar, select properties.  Make the appropriate changes to the archive

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact.  Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
