I have 2 calendars, the "original", and a newer one. How do I make the new
one my default calendar and get rid of the original calendar? The original
calendar does not offer the option to "Remove from my calendars" when I
right-click. I am running MS Outlook 2003 in XP Home Edition.
G'day. I don't think you can just delete a functional folder like that.
How about we get all your data from the new one back into the real one and
then delete your new one.
We'll do this carefully......
View the new calendar in By Category View. Select all the items in it.
Drag them all by using your RIGHT mouse button into the old Calendar. Let
go and say Copy here. Then check you're happy that they're there.
Now delete the new Calendar that you made.

Okay, I have a similar question. I am sharing a calendar with my boss.
Outlook 2003, sharing with calendar4outlook, in case that matters. It
works, but she has two calendars now, the original one and the shared one.
Is there a way to that her default calendar is the shared one? She doesn't
need two of them, and frankly having two may confuse her.
Thanks.

Thanks very much for your help! It was rather an obvious solution, but
that's what distinguishes those who know what they are doing -- they can see
the obvious!

turn on the Advanced toolbar (view | toolbars)
the Current View window is a white box with writing in it. Use it to
change Views in any Outlook folder.
