if you need a synchronization program for your IPAQ, that sync a
public/group calendar, have a look on this site:

To sync a Public Folder with a Personal Folder and then to a handheld is not
the right/secure way to sync a Public Folder with a handheld.

We use XTNDconnectPC with our groupware solution but there are also good
additional other solutions, listed on the slipstick website.
