Is it possible to get reminders for additional calendars?

I have added an additional calendar, but it will not allow me to set
reminders for any appointments. Is this possible?

Reminder work off of your main mailbox.  I would check out to see if there
are any add-in available to do this.  A good place to start is the Slipstick
website.
