I received a neat email. Within the email was a link, once I clicked the
link, the appointment information was automaticly entered into my calendar.
Anyone knowns how to create this link within outlook "calendar"?
Thanks

It was a link to an iCalendar file. To make one yourself: Open an appointment. Choose File | Save As. Choose iCalendar for the format.

Simply Double Click to add a new appointment in your Calendar. Then at the
top of the screen you see a button called "Invite Attendees" click this
button & it adds a To: line above the Subject line and you can add an e-mail
address (or more than one)
Once they receive the e-mail they can accept and it will add the event to
their Calendar, it also sends a note to you letting you know they accepted
