Hello--

*Using Exchange Server 2003 Standard on a server running Server 2003
Enterprise and workstations use Outlook 2003*

This is the strangest thing. We have a pubic calendar that our users use to
schedule appointments. Everything has been working great, but there is one
time slot (11:00 AM) where if you try to open it to schedule an appointment,
you get this error:

Microsoft Office Outlook
"Can't open this item. The operation failed"

There are no events in the event log on the Exchange server, and I stopped
the anti-virus/spam filter services as a troubleshooting test.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated

Hello--

Since I haven't gotten any replies yet, I thought I would supply more
information that came in after my original post, to see if that helps anyone
figure out what could be going on.

This is what I got from the user:

"...looks like we corrected the problem by deleting that series of
appointments and I simply created a new series.  Looks like the problem
occurred again but this time it is with the first 10:00 appointment starting
June 1st"

Any help would be appreciated.
