When I send an appointment from my calendar to someone else, the appointment comes in an e-mail form instead of an appointment form. When someone else sends one to me, the same thing happens. Is there a setting that I need to change in order for my Outlook to view these appointments as appointments and not e-mails? Are you sending over the Internet or internally? If Internet, right click on the addressee and select properties (Outlook 2003 Outlook Properties) and then change the format to always send using Rich Text Format.
