calendar reminder not working even after repairing ver. 9.00-9327

my outlook calendar 2000, ver. 9.00-9327 does not automatically remind me of
appointments as it use to do. i have repaired and after each repair reminders
appear. however, this is not permanent and after shutting down reminders do
not appear. i have checked all the reminder default boxes. thank you

What steps did you take previously to try to resolve the issue.

In fact I have similary problem with my outlook 2003. It just started
recently. I get reminders for new meetings but for my old recurring meetings,
I dont get any reminders.

When I double click on my recurring meeting, it shows me an option to "Open
Recurring item", When I select "open the series" option, it shows the
reminder is set for 15 minutes before meeting starts. But when I select "open
this occurrence", it doesnt show me the reminder set. The check box is
unchecked.

Is there anyone who know how to reset it??
