taskpad in calendar view

i am having a problem viewing the taskpad in calendar view. i have
tried playing with all kinds of view settings with no luck. any help is
much appreciated.

Hover your mouse over the right side edge until you see a double arrow
indicator,  Grab the separator and drag it to your left.  If you only get
calendars or taskpad, then you need to repeat the procedure except hover
your mouse over the lower or upper edge of the item and then drag.
