Hi,
I'd like to use my (monthly viewed) outlook calendar to share who is working
in our department that day - we have a lot of people working on-call. I'd
like to color code them according to their task, but want to find an easy way
to represent that they'll simply be in that week- and not have to type in
their name for each day they'll be here. I've done that through the all day
event, but there are too many people and all the names don't show up once
they're all typed in.
Any suggestions??
thanks much.

Do you have an Exchange Server?

Instead of using your own calendar may want to create a central calendar
such as a Public Folder - Calendar (providing you have Exchange).  This will
allow others (those you determine) to view the calendar when need be without
having to give access to your Personal calendar.  You can also use Labels to
color code a color for each person so at a glance you can see who is in the
office and/or what task are assigned to them.

There are also 3rd party software available for scheduling resources but
this may be what you need.
