In Outlook I select "Options", "Other", "Advanced Options", and set "Start up
in this Folder" to "Calender" but Outlook still opens with the Email Inbox.

How are you starting Outlook normally? If you double-click on Outlook.EXE
from My Computer does it still happen? In the case of Outlook 2003, you'll
find it, by default, in the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11
directory
