I have a HP pocket pc 2215 device and I want to sync my outlook calender to
the device.  Here's the problem.  When I first set it up the calender info
went to the device.  Now if I make a change on the outlook from my main
computer and then try to sync the device overrules and I loose the info in
outlook and the device doesn't get the changes I made.
So, I need info changed on my main computers outlook(2003) to sync to my
device and update the calender, how do I do this so I won't loose the info I
spent hours putting into outlook?

I'm not 100% sure about this since I haven't used a PocketPC in a long time
but check the sync program to see if there's a setting that defines what
happens in the event of a conflict or difference.

Vince,
thanks for the reply.  Where you have mentioned is an amigous couple of
statements/choices in the rule tab under options:  Choose either, Always
replace the item on my device, always replace item on my pc, or leave item
unresolved.
The first two choices seem a little vague so, for clarification which do you
suspect will allow me to sync new info from my laptop to my device?
I think the problem is, if I update an appointment on the device after I
have updated the laptop calender(w/o syncing) then try to sync, no matter
what I placed on the device it will overrule the laptop info, even if the two
updates are on different appointment times.  This sucks

Try the "Always replace item on my device" setting first. It should only
need to do that when the item has been changed on both devices but check it
out anyway. You might also want to check in the PocketPC newsgroups to see
if they have any other salient advice.
