MS Office Forum / Outlook / Calendaring / June 2005Does Outlook have to be open for my calendar reminders to pop up?
When i set reminders for events on Microsoft Outlook Calendar, they only pop up if I have the program open. When I used to use the old Microsift Works calendar, the reminders would occur even if Microsoft Works was not open. Outlook doesn't and needs to be running in order for your reminders to work.  SignatureBrian Tillman
