How do I import dates from XL to Outlook?

I have an XL work sheet containing Specific dates for completing actions.  
How can I import those dates and actions into Outlook as appointments?

Try exporting your calendar as an XLS. Look at the format and duplicate the
format for your import file

I tried to do the same thing, but it didnt work for me.  The data is not
transfering back.

It worked for me, but you must ave the file as a windows tab deliminated TXT
file. to import it into Outlook.
