I recently upgraded some of my users to Office 2003 from Office XP.  All went
well except for the Master Catagory List.  All of the custom entries they had
went away.  Is there a file that I can restore to get these back?

The master list is stored in the Windows registry, not in a separate file. If you did an in-place upgrade and set Office to migrate user settings, it should have been set up for OL2003. See http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/olcat.htm

I did an in place an all user settings were kept.  Just not these.  I don't
think I have a backup of the registry, but thank you for you're help!
