How can you select entries for one category only in calendar

In Outlook it is possible to assign a 'category(s)' for each entry.  How can
these be used?  I would like to be able to print out only those entries for
one category

You can assign default categories or your own.  Then, to print the calendar
with only that calendar, customize your current calendar view to category
view and select your category and then print.
