I have been working on the same problem and (via and article by Jim Boyce)
have come up with the following solution.

Assume your username on the ftp server is 'USER' and the password is 'PWD'
then you simply go to Outlook select tools, options and then calendar
options. In the publish my free/busy information enter

ftp://USER:PWD@<servername>/<filename>.vfb

where <servername> is your ftp server and <filename> is the name of the file
you wish to store your data in.

For the contacts that you want to share data with, go to the contacts
details tab and under free busy information enter exactly the same as above,
but replace the filename with the name of the file that the contact exports
to.

This works fine for me - however, I have some colleagues running Outlook
Standard 2003 and XP home and they cannot see the exported date even though
they export OK and I can see theirs.

Any help on that issue from anyone would be appreciated

Were you ever able to get your Microsoft Outlook published to your website.
I am trying to publish mine to my website and my website also requires a
username and password and I have not be able to figure this out. So as you
can see I am wanting to see if you can help lead me in the right direction.
