Outlook 2003 scheduling compatibility with Outlook 98

I recently upgraded to Office 2003 Professional.  My wife is still running
Outlook 98.  Now when I include her in a scheduled event, the email arrives
on her computer with the event as a .txt attachment instead of a calendar
item.

Any help would be appreciated.

make sure you have her address enabled for RTF format (on her contact) - if
it fails to help, you'll probably need to forward the appointments to her.

Thanks, Diane.  Yes.  It is enabled.  Do you know if there any plan to fix
this?

I don't recall seeing a hotfix for it - but seeing that OL98 has been out of
mainstream support for sometime, I doubt it. If there is not a fix in the
upcoming OL2003 SP2 (later this fall), the only fix is upgrading. (Ol98 is
the least secure version - upgrading for that reason alone is highly
recommended.)
