Is it possible to have a meeting request sent automatically to a specified
individual for every appointment that is set up in Outlook.

Sviola, it's not really clear what you're trying to accomplish here.  In
Outlook-speak, an appointment is just something you put on your calendar at a
particular time, whereas a meeting request involves the booking of resources
and/or the inviting of multiple people to meet at a particular time/place.

Are you wanting to automatically send a particular person an "FYI"
notification for each appointment that is booked, or are you wanting to
actually *invite* them to come to each appointment?

tbgg - thanks for clarifying the issue for me.  What I truly want to do is
send an FYI to a specific person each time I book an appointment.  Is that
possible

Not natively--but if you're lucky, there might be a 3rd party add-in already
available for something like that.  If you're running Outlook 98 or 2000, you
might be able to make use of a little add-in called Calendar Assist.  I tried
to find the home site for that to see if there's a version for Outlook 2002
or 2003, but it looks like the site is down (or out of business), though you
can still find Calendar Assist for Outlook 98/2K at some shareware sites.

I usually start with the Slipstick site when I'm looking for an Outlook
add-in;  they have a fairly long list of Outlook add-ins, and as you follow
the links, sometimes you find other lists of add-ins.  Sperry Software is
another good add-in site.

Good luck!

Thanks tbgg.  I went to slipstick and found what I needed.
