When I imported the main office calendar it changed the default seetings for
appointments to span two days instead of one day. It also displays them 1
hour later than they should be. I checked my time zone settings and can get
it to have the right time but then it makes my one day events look like two
days. It even changes the birhtdays and such to two day events. How do I
change that?

Export your items (not the main office ones) to a CSV file, delete them,
change the time zone settings so the main office stuff lines up right,
import the items in the CSV file
