Why does outlook change the meeting times when inviting attendees to a meeting
outlook 2000 - outlook 2002 changes the meeting time back 1 hour
outlook 2002 - outlook 2000 changes the meeting time forward 1 hour

help appreciated

Because you have a mismatch in the Calendar time settings between the two,
most likely the daylight savings time setting.
