Lost without Outlook! - 23 Aug 2005 19:29 GMT
On brand new laptop with new Office Suite 2003 software I am having trouble
with the calender.  Invitations to and from my Outlook appear in text format
and do not hit the calendar.  Is there some setting that I have missed?  This
is a primary function of my new job and I am truly in need of help~

Does the message look like an iCal/vCal file, like I asked the previous
poster?

Hi Vince Averello,

Yes, exactly like an iCal/vCal file as your previous poster. Why this
problem happened and how can I solve it?

Thanks.

Hmmm, the only thing I can think of is that the iCal format is a bit off.
Can you send me the invite to check out?

Could you explain it more specific on this statement:

"You need to force Rich Text Format on the item. Once you have addressed the
item, double click on the address and select the option to use RTF. It will
be under Internet Format."

Thank you very much.

It's saying that you need to send the message in RTF but that was an old
requirement before iCal/vCal was supported.
