MS Office Forum / Outlook / Calendaring / September 2005How to scheduling meetings without a user having to accept them.
We would like to put meetings, such as sales meetings, into a large number of users’ calendars without the users having to either accept them or import holidays into their schedule. It’s not a problem to give the person setting up the meetings author rights on calendars. We can do this on a one off with author privilege to a calendar but with several meeting and 1000’s users it would be tedious. I was really hoping to find s a magic bullet that would prevent me from writing code or having the user do anything out of outlook, as the person responsable for scheduling the event is a novice computer user.
