We would like to put meetings, such as sales meetings, into a large number of
users’ calendars without the users having to either accept them or import
holidays into their schedule.  It’s not a problem to give the person setting
up the meetings author rights on calendars.  We can do this on a one off with
author privilege to a calendar but with several meeting and 1000’s users it
would be tedious.
Thanks
Joe

You'd have to write your own code to log onto each mailbox and create the items.

See http://www.outlookcode.com/d/code/holidays.htm for other solutions that require a minimal amount of user involvement.

Remove the "s" at the end of "holidays"

Sue thanks for the link to the code, and Brian thanks for the correct URL.

I was really hoping to find s a magic bullet that would prevent me from
writing code or having the user do anything out of outlook, as the person
responsable for scheduling the event is a novice computer user.  I guess this
is where I'll be writing a custom Outlook Add-in.
Thanks
