Is there a way to sort the reminders in the pop-up "Reminders Window" by the
"Due In" field.  I would like to see the reminders sorted so the future ones
are always first and the overdue ones are shown from the least overdue time
to the most overdue time

No. The native Outlook reminders window doesn't allow sorting or any other
changes.
