calendar cleanup

How does one clear all entries that have built up in their Outlook Calendar.  
Specifically, I want to clear all entries prior to 2005.  How do I do that
without doing it one at a time?

Either sort by start date and select one, hold ctrl and select the last one
or use autoarchive to delete them for you.

In my calendar, there is a appointment item which is corrupted, so it
will reminder me every time when outlook is start up. And it doesn't
appear in the calendar view. Following the steps posted above, i can
see it. but cann't deleted it. How to repair it.
