Unable to edit Recurring Events

Hi,

I am having an issue with Exchange Server 2003 and the Calendar/Scheduling
feature.  When users create a meeting/event, and set it up to be recurring,
they are unable to go back and edit that event afterward.  Normally, in
Outlook 2003, when you click on a recurring event to edit it, you are
prompted to open either the event or the series for editing.  Users are not
being prompted, and are instead sent straight to editing the series.  This is
not consistent, however, and it does occasionally function as it should.
Additionally, when deleting a recurring event, they are not always prompted
to delete the series or event, either.

Has anybody seen this or anything like it?  I don't know a whole lot about
how the system works, and could sure use some input.  Thanks a lot!!

Are they in Day/Week/Month view?  That's the only view that allows the choice
of editing one occurrence or the whole series.

I have tried opening a single occurence from the day, week, and month views
(by selecting Day, Week, or Month from the toolbar).  Is there another view
setting I should be looking at?  Thanks,

Nope, that's the right one...if you're seeing those Day, Week, Work Week, and
Month buttons, you're in Day/Week/Month view.  Unfortunately I don't know
much about Exchange...if you don't get any more helpful responses in this
thread after several days, you might want to repost your question and make
sure to mention your users are in Day/Week/Month view when they try to edit
an occurrence.  Good luck...sorry I couldn't be of more help.
