I have a user who is wanting to view appointments he made in his calendar
going back to 2003, but all he sees prior to this year is appts created as a
recurring by his secretary.  Is there a setting somewhere that determines how
long appointments are kept for that I have missed somewhere?  Any help would
be great.  Outlook XP.

The items have probably been archived to an archive.pst - have the user
search (using Windows search and having hidden folders included) for all
files with a .pst extension.  Open them using Outlook - File->Open->Outlook
Data File.
