Whenever I get a meeting request and click on the "Accept" button, the item
automatically goes to the "Deleted Items" folder.  I can't find an option
anywhere to prevent this from happening.  Is there any way to turn this
behavior off so that the item does not get deleted?

Thanks

Hi John!

You will find it under Tools | Options and then e-mail options (I have a
norwegian version of Outlook and don't think I remember the english name).
And then under Advanced you'll find a checkbox you can uncheck so it won't
delete the meeting request after you have accepted it
